Data Analyst

About this role

Our client is a data-driven investment firm looking for a mathematical athlete. You will be sitting in the engine room of the investment team, reporting directly to the Partners and the Chief Investment Officer.

The Opportunity:
You will spend your days identifying market anomalies, back-testing asset allocation models, and automating investment intelligence. You’ll be given the tools (and the capital) to see your hypotheses play out in the real world. This is a fast-track to a career in quantitative finance.

The Profile:

- Academic:
A 1st / 2.1 degree in a quantitative subject (Physics, Math, Econ, or Financial Engineering).
- The Quant Mindset:
You are obsessed with 'Alpha.' You likely have a personal interest in the markets and can explain the delta between different asset classes with ease.
- The Stack:
Mastery of Python (Pandas/NumPy) and SQL.
