Controller & Operations Manager (CFO)

About this role

VERY BUSY 20 employee AGENCY (High-End Law Firm & Partner level Placement) - Seeks an ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS MANAGER/CFO.

We are looking for a sharp, quick & RESULT ORIENTATED person with at least 10 years of this experience.

This person must be DOING THE WORK THEMSELVES.

-our issue lately is people who have promised us the world, but have no intention of doing the work.

Tasks include: Paying all vendor bills; handlign and winning AMEX bill dipsutes; interepreting legal fee agreements, generating large invoices adn receiving timely payment; seeing ALL credit cards are registered for releveant bill pays. An much more.

Must be responsive, & our CEO must be a priority. That simple.

She has a tremendous work ethic. She has too much on her plate and should NOT be as involved with daily operations (including staff) as she has had to be.

This person needs to oversee managing All vendors and staff adn report back to the CEO.

Someone who is utlra responsive, career focused and knowlegable to eithe rmanage and oversee, or hire reasonable experts (like HR) to do so.

Our infrastructure has outrown our ONE IT person - we need more depth; and other processes & vendors; we outsource HR - need that.

She needs to be closing deals, not dealign with vendors & problem staff & operations.

While the main office is in Century City/Westwood, she resides usually more often in New York.

We are considering opening Dallas.

And her original residence and 2nd home is in Los Angeles.

Preferred would be a professional based in Southern California - LA, Surrounding Areas, or even Ventura County. While New York is also an option - LA would be easier.

Someone connected with CPA firms -as our CPA of 25 years passed away suddently 1.5 years ago.

& that said- we have outgrown that prior infrastructure with our growth.

We MAY open an office in Texas (Dallas) & are open to that geography.
