We are seeking a skilled
Construction Project Manager
with a strong background in vertical construction, specialized experience in
higher education projects
, and
expertise in geothermal energy systems
. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in
Civil Engineering
and possess the leadership capability to drive complex, sustainable institutional projects from inception to completion.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Lead vertical construction projects for higher education client, ensuring adherence to strict institutional standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage geothermal system installations, collaborating with specialized engineers to ensure seamless integration into campus infrastructure.
• Direct daily operations on-site and off-site, overseeing general contractors, subcontractors, and vendor performance.

*Cost & Schedule Control*

• Develop comprehensive schedules and critical path milestones tailored to active campus environments.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and minimize variances through rigorous change-order management.
• Procure materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with sustainable design and engineering specifications.

*Stakeholder Collaboration*

• Serve as primary liaison between university representatives, architects, structural engineers, and facility managers.
• Navigate municipal permitting and environmental compliance processes unique to institutional and renewable energy builds.
• Facilitate progress meetings, providing transparent reporting on milestones, risks, and financial health.

*Qualifications & Requirements*

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (highly preferred) or Construction Management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus.
• LEED Accredited Professional designation is highly desirable.
