Cloud Engineer - AI Solutions (Manager) - Remote

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Cloud Engineer - AI Solutions (Manager) - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.


This role will lead the design and operation of cloud environments that support both client delivery and internal innovation initiatives. You will partner closely with data, engineering, and security stakeholders to build scalable infrastructure for AI and machine learning solutions. The position also plays a key part in shaping DevOps practices, observability, and secure deployment patterns across modern cloud platforms.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $155,000 – $175,000 annually


Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and operate end-to-end cloud environments for clients and internal projects
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and CDK
• Design data engineering pipelines for AI/ML applications and infrastructure
• Set up DevOps pipelines for solution components including data engineering and AI
• Containerize applications and deploy them using cloud-native and serverless services
• Establish observability frameworks including logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Ensure secure deployments by managing identity, networking, and secrets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or platform infrastructure
• Proven ability to design and provision cloud infrastructure on major cloud platforms
• Expertise in AI/ML and LLM infrastructure deployment
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CDK
• Familiarity with hub-and-spoke architectures for various environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security practices
• Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred
