JOB SUMMARY

This position is an integral member of the Claims Financial application team, responsible for supporting, enhancing, and modernizing applications that are critical to claims processing and financial operations. The role combines production support responsibilities with software development activities to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical systems.
The successful candidate will collaborate with business partners, analysts, architects, and fellow engineers to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain solutions that support Claims Financial operations. Using technologies such as Java, GitLab, Digital.ai, enov8 , and other enterprise platforms, the individual will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
This role requires a strong focus on problem solving, system reliability, and continuous improvement. The engineer will investigate and resolve production issues, implement enhancements, support platform modernization initiatives, and leverage emerging technologies and best practices to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet both business and operational needs.
Preferred Education- for an Associate level engineer a Masters degree is not expected .
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for designing and creating engineering specifications for software applications and programs. Responsible for writing code that adheres to coding standards. Perform code reviews.
