ASSISTANT COST PROJECT MANAGER
for a full-time position located in Dallas, Texas.
About The Role
This position plays a key role in supporting project delivery with a strong emphasis on
cost control, financial tracking, and budget management
. The ACPM will collaborate closely with Project Managers, field staff, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are executed efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Management & Financial Oversight
- Assist with developing, monitoring, and maintaining project budgets and forecasts.
- Track and analyze project costs, prepare monthly cost reports, and identify potential budget risks or savings.
- Support the management of change orders by reviewing estimates, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and validating cost impacts.
- Review and process subcontractor invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with budget.
- Provide financial updates to project leadership and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, procurement logs, and submittals.
