About the Role
We are looking for an AI engineer to own the build and delivery of AI applications for healthcare, working across providers, payors, and the wider healthcare ecosystem. This is a forward-deployed, high-agility role: you work directly with clients to take a problem from the first conversation to a production system, building on Sarvam's models and infrastructure. You will move fast, ship often, and own outcomes in a domain where reliability genuinely matters.
What You'll Do
• Build and ship AI applications for healthcare clients: document understanding, conversational and voice agents, retrieval systems, and workflow automation, built on Sarvam's models.
• Work directly with providers and payors to scope real problems and turn them into production systems that hold up in the field.
• Integrate Sarvam's language, speech, and translation models into healthcare workflows, often across multiple Indian languages.
• Build the evaluation and guardrails that keep outputs reliable and safe in a high-stakes domain. • Move fast across several engagements at once, iterating tightly with clients and shipping in short cycles.
• Take systems from prototype to production: instrument them, debug them under real load, and keep improving accuracy and reliability.
What We're Looking For
• A few years of hands-on engineering, building and shipping real AI or ML applications, not just prototypes.
• Genuine strength with the applied AI stack: LLMs, prompting, retrieval (RAG), fine-tuning, evals, and agentic systems.
