Supporting journalism and subscriptions first strategy: the role of content licensing to enhance brand advocacy and contribute to the long-term financial sustainability to continue serving readers and subscribers with reliable and informative news

The Accreditation Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing commercial licensing deals for The Telegraph Recommended and accreditation programs.

This position requires a proactive salesperson who can manage the full sales lifecycle independently, from identifying high-potential prospects in buying guides to closing complex contracts with national and international brands. You will be a key driver of the licensing revenue stream, ensuring that our authoritative editorial content is leveraged by brands to drive their own retail success.

### Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Business Development

  • End-to-End Sales: Own the full sales cycle, focusing on converting endorsements of products and services into paid licensing agreements. .
  • Proactive Prospecting: Move beyond reactive leads; identify and pitch to high-value brands featured in Telegraph reviews across Tech, Home, Money, and Travel.
  • Sophisticated Pitching: Develop bespoke sales presentations that articulate the ROI of The Telegraph’s endorsement to marketing and brand managers.
  • Consistent Delivery: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly individual revenue targets.
