Accountant

About this role

The expansion of a Wealth Management Firm has created an opening for an Accountant. If you have experience maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits, Please Apply!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for assets, liabilities, profit, and loss
• Process accounts payable for domestic entities
• Prepare detailed schedules summarizing cash activities and balances
• Reconcile and maintain various general ledger accounts
• Support the month-end close processes and the generation of quarterly reporting statements
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Other special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience within real estate, private equity, or investment management
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines
