Corporate Accountant

About this role

We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing consumer products company to identify a Senior Accountant who is looking to take on a highly visible role within a collaborative and business-oriented accounting team. The company has built a strong market presence, continues to invest in growth initiatives, and offers meaningful exposure to leadership and cross-functional decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Own key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Support inventory accounting and collaborate closely with operational teams.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Assist with audit preparation and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Partner with leaders across operations, sales, and supply chain to improve reporting and drive efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience working within manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, retail, or inventory-intensive environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
