Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and assist in the monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to uphold financial integrity.
• Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, and overseeing payment runs.
• Monitor daily cash balances and bank activity, processing treasury transactions to support effective cash management.
• Utilize Yardi for accounting functions, generating reports and assisting with process improvements and special projects.
• Support budgeting and expense tracking initiatives to enhance financial planning.
• Research and resolve vendor inquiries, maintaining strong relationships and accurate vendor records.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or real estate investment.
• Proficiency in Yardi and strong understanding of accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and cash management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
