A well-established international manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Accounting Specialist to support its day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work and is looking for a stable, long-term career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting financial reporting, audits, and compliance activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable (AR)

• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collection activities.
• Reconcile the AR subledger with the general ledger.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Prepare payment requests and initiate wire transfers through online banking.
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal approval procedures.

General Accounting

• Prepare and post routine journal entries.
• Maintain supporting documentation for accounting transactions.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Assist with quarterly financial reporting schedules.
• Support annual external audits by preparing requested documentation.
• Assist with internal control and compliance activities, including documentation and control testing.
