About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in City of Commerce, California. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has a strong foundation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Analyze financial data and prepare supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations
• Participate in audits and provide supporting documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
