Staff Accountant

A fast-paced, growing medical device company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants broad exposure across AP, AR, month-end close, reporting, and audit support in a dynamic, scaling organization.

The Staff Accountant will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely reporting, and helping improve core accounting processes as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Own and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Assist with month-end close activities and related documentation
• Support financial reporting and accounting data analysis
• Help prepare for and support the company’s upcoming financial statement audit
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to gather information, resolve issues, and improve accounting workflows
• Support additional finance and accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in or supporting an accounting department
• Experience with AP, AR, and basic accounting processes
• Familiarity with financial statement accounts such as cash, fixed assets, leases, operating expenses, and prepaids
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company environment
