About The Role
The
Staff Accountant
is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of daily and monthly sales, inventory, and cash transactions, including verifying point-of-sale data, managing bank and book balances, and addressing discrepancies. The position also supports month-end and year-end closing procedures, focusing on Fixed Assets, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliation, while maintaining adherence to company policies and internal controls. Accurate reporting on cash positions and liquidity is provided to management, ensuring the integrity of financial records.

esponsibilities
Perform daily and monthly sales and inventory reconciliation to ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately and timely and correspondent inventory movements are appropriately reflected in the ledger.

• Assist with daily and monthly cash reconciliations, including US and international bank accounts, merchant processors such as Shopify, and cash receipts.
• Research and resolve cash reconciling items, chargebacks, and payment discrepancies.
• Prepare cash, treasury, and tax supporting documentation for external auditors and tax advisors.
