Staff Accountant

About this role

Our client, a dynamic organization in the finance industry, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Controller and finance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$55,000 - $75,000


What's the Job?

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions, invoicing, and billing accuracy
• Support collections, credit monitoring, and cash flow management
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control documentation

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in service based or project based environments
• Working knowledge of full-cycle accounting and foundational GAAP principles
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with QuickBooks Online, Ramp, and Concur preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
