Job Description
VCS Platform & Acceptance is part of the Visa Commercial Solutions technology organization and is responsible for building and enhancing Virtual Cards, payables, acceptance platforms, and Commercial B2B product capabilities. The team develops modern, scalable software platforms that support global commercial payment experiences.
We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving challenging business problems through modern backend engineering and who thrive in a high-performance environment focused on innovation, delivery quality, and technical excellence.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will independently design, develop, and enhance software systems that meet high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, reliability, and compliance. You will play an important role in building API-first, microservices-based, event-driven backend systems and in evolving the engineering practices that support them.
This role requires a GenAI-first attitude. You are expected to actively leverage GenAI, LLMs, coding copilots, and agentic engineering tools for design exploration, development acceleration, test generation, code review support, debugging, documentation, and operational efficiency.
