About The Role
The Senior Data Engineer at CoxHealth will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support the organization's strategic objectives. This role involves leading complex data projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and security of data assets. The incumbent will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, optimizing data architecture, and implementing best practices in data governance and compliance. As a senior team member, the Data Engineer will also mentor junior staff, contribute to strategic planning, and help drive innovation within the data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a keen understanding of healthcare data requirements.


Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• Required: A minimum of 4 years of experience working with data in clinical, financial, or other enterprise domains OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in relational and non-relational database systems.
