Sr Accountant

About this role

LHH has partnered with an international company in search for a Sr Accountant to join their small local cohesive team. This is a great position for someone who is hands on and famliar with fixed asstes as well as overseeing accounts payables.

Responsibilities of this direct hire Sr Accountant include:

• Manage fixed asset tracking and produce supporting schedules and reports
• Ensure accuracy of payables by performing 3-way match
• Process expense reimbursements
• Facilitate check runs and wire transfers
• Review and validate financial information through detailed spreadsheet analyses
• Complete account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly close process
• Upload and maintain monthly financial data within the company’s consolidation platform
• Generate intercompany billing and oversee related collections activity
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation
• Provide external audits assistance
• Help with variance analysis, preparing annual budgets, and forecasting
• Tax filings, including recurring sales/use tax and annual property tax reports

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis on Excel, as well as experience using JD Edwards
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Organized and effective time management skills
• Capable of working autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills
