- Evaluates a feature or function of a program or environment to determine that it meets its required results by executing those features and functions with the intent of finding errors.
- Creates and modifies manual System and Regression test scripts for changes to ensure the change meets the business requirements, specifications and design.
- Builds and executes both manual and automated System and Regression test scripts and validates expected results. Reports defects to the builder of the change and follows through to ensure that all defects are addressed.

- Communicates the testing status to project team members and the test manager to ensure timelines and quality are met.
- Maintains test environments (multiple application, data/databases, and infrastructure versions) to ensure they are ready for the testing of the releases.
