Software Engineer in Test

About this role

• We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to make our user experience on our platform more delightful and reliable for our millions of users
• You’ll be a key part of a fast-paced team of passionate builders to preserve critical thinking for humanity
• Test our chrome extension and web application, executing detailed test plans on a variety of browsers and operating systems
• Created detailed error reports using video recording software and task management software
• Create automated E2E tests to gate new releases using our drag-and-drop E2E testing tool
• Work with our engineering team live to reproduce and understand errors and improve our platforms robustness

• You can either by hybrid in Toronto/New York City (with work authorization) or remote with ability to attending meetings 9am-6pm Eastern Standard Time
• Fluent in English
• Ability to code using Javascript, HTML and CSS (i.e. has coded websites before)
• Very familiar with Chrome debugger (console, network, application windows)
• 3+ YOE in QA or web development
• Experience with web development (e.g. functions, algorithms, etc)
• Degree in IT/Computer Science or 4 years of work experience
• Highly motivated to make impact in a fast-moving workplace
• Experience debugging Chrome extensions
