## Day to Day
As a Software Engineer on Indeed's Talent Scout team, you will help build and scale AI-powered employer help capabilities that reduce support case volume and improve client experience. You'll work on systems that combine LLM-based agents, API integrations, evaluation pipelines, and observability — operating at production scale with safety and quality gates.
In this role, you'll work alongside engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners across multiple teams and time zones to design, ship, and iterate on agent-driven experiences. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, routing and observability design, and help drive phased rollouts from controlled launch to production scale.
## Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features and services that support core business workflows.
- Contribute to the evolution of existing systems while helping prototype and deliver new capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to maintain quality, reliability, and clarity.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Identify performance and scalability improvements and enhance existing code accordingly.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to teammates through collaboration and feedback.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively within the team.
