## Role at a Glance
Gecko Robotics’ Manufacturing team is one of its newest and fastest-growing , building robotic and software systems that accelerate American industry and support critical government programs. As a Software Engineer, you will develop field and cloud software that powers robotic systems, process sensor data, and empower decision-making across the industrial base. You will collaborate daily with engineers of all disciplines, in addition to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experts, to help protect critical infrastructure and support national security initiatives.
Due to government program requirements, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
## What you will do
- Build cloud and field applications for use within the Military- Industrial Base
- Create ontologies representing the digital thread of industrial assets
- Architect robust interfaces between field and cloud software systems
- Solve complex deployment problems as we ship software to edge devices around the US
- Iterate quickly with today’s customers while building for the long run
