About The Role
The role is responsible for building and scaling high-performance web applications, spanning from responsive, user-facing frontend interfaces to robust, low-latency backend services. The team designs and maintains core product features that serve millions of active users daily, emphasizing modular architecture, system reliability, and seamless user experiences.
This position collaborates closely with product managers, product designers, and infrastructure engineers to translate complex requirements into clean, scalable code. The engineer will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of the web platform, optimizing application performance, and establishing modern software engineering practices across the stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy end-to-end features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python across a distributed microservices architecture
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational database schemas using PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB for high-throughput applications
- Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
- Optimize application performance and load times on the frontend, utilizing code-splitting, caching strategies, and efficient state management
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library to ensure high code quality and prevent regressions
- Participate in design reviews, peer code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation using Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications at scale
