Job Summary
VSolvit is hiring a Software Engineer to implement features and deliver high-quality solutions for DoD applications. Engineers will develop user stories, write associated tests, and support Agile development cycles with a strong focus on collaboration and quality.
As an Engineer, you will work with modern development frameworks, cloud environments, and DevSecOps pipelines to build scalable, secure systems.

Responsibilities
- Experience with common JavaScript libraries (Angular, React, jQuery, Backbone, Redux etc.)
- Implement stories from backlog using Angular, React, Java, and other tools
- Apply Test-Driven Development and pair programming in XP framework
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Tanzu)
- Support database development with MySQL 8.0
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration cycles
- Document implementation in Confluence
- Manage and optimize container pipelines within Tanzu
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address POA&M requirements
- Support networking tasks (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience in Agile development (Scrum/XP/Lean)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevSecOps
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- **U.S Citizenship required**
