#### About the Role:
Serve is building the operating system for the next generation of padel clubs - a fully customizable and white-labeled platform powering seamless user experiences for club members and administrators alike. As a Software Engineer I on the Serve team, you will contribute to the development of the core platform that helps clubs across the world manage operations, engage members, and drive growth. You will work on critical features across the stack, from backend services and APIs to user-facing components, directly impacting how players, staff, and clubs interact with our platform. You will collaborate with a high-caliber engineering team, participate in technical design discussions, and be part of shaping the future of Serve as we scale.
#### Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2+ year of experience in software development using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
#### Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building backend systems using Python and Django.
- Experience developing frontend applications with TypeScript and modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Interest in infrastructure, developer tooling, or scalable system design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
#### Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems using Python and Django.
- Develop frontend components and internal tools using TypeScript.
- Work on features spanning scheduling, payments, membership, and more.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Optimize the performance and reliability of Serve's core systems.
- Take ownership of projects and continuously learn in a fast-paced environment.
