Software Engineer

About this role

A leading aerospace and defence organisation is looking for a Software Engineer. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle for critical mission systems. This role involves translating customer requirements into robust software products while adhering to strict industry and safety standards.


What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software products and functionalities for complex systems integrations.
• Reviewing and translating customer requirements into initial software designs and technical specifications.
• Debugging and resolving technical issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Implementing emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Executing and documenting software research and development projects to support long-term program goals.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience with VB, C#, .NET and/or .NET Framework.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL or other relational database technologies.
• Proven experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, nUnit, or MSTest.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States with the ability to obtain high-level security clearances.
