About The Role
As a Senior Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator at Raytheon, you will play a vital role within the Effectors Center of the Software organization. This onsite position located in Tucson, Arizona, offers an exciting opportunity to work on the development of embedded software for next-generation autonomous avionics systems. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and deploying firmware and hardware solutions that meet stringent mission requirements. Working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including product owners, chief engineers, and management, to ensure software solutions are reliable, functional, and meet project deadlines. This role involves working on complex systems where hardware operation, real-time performance, safety, and mission assurance are critical. You will also have opportunities to mentor less experienced staff, contribute to proposals, and participate in design reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality embedded software solutions that support national defense initiatives.
