About The Role
We are seeking dedicated HIPP Enrollment Coordinators / Helpers to join our team and work closely with a prominent hospital in Upper Manhattan. In this role, you will be responsible for enrolling eligible hospital patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP). Your primary focus will be to clearly communicate program requirements to patients and their families, serving as a patient advocate throughout the enrollment process. This position plays a vital role in assisting high-cost and medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries to access employer-sponsored health insurance by leveraging Medicaid benefits, ultimately helping them afford necessary healthcare coverage.


Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, Psychology, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates should have at least five years of hospital or patient-related experience, demonstrating familiarity with healthcare processes and patient engagement. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with a diverse patient population.
