Senior Tax Accountant

A growing boutique CPA firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and closely held companies across a variety of industries while gaining direct exposure to firm leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies for clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff members
• Collaborate with partners and managers on client projects and advisory initiatives
• Assist clients with tax notices, audits, and other compliance-related matters
• Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
• 4+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
