# Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer - Fully Remote

Alphanumeric is hiring a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer (Functional Consultant - Level 3) to support our client of over 20 years, a global leader dedicated to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical innovation.

Location: Fully Remote - Eastern Time Zone preferred
Pay Range: $80-$90/hour W2

## The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong cloud engineering expertise to join a collaborative team responsible for building reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient applications.

This is not a traditional cloud infrastructure or DevOps-only position. Software engineering experience is a core requirement. The ideal candidate combines hands-on application development with strong knowledge of modern cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code.

As a senior technical contributor, you will take loosely defined business and technical requirements, translate them into well-defined technical solutions, and architect and build those solutions through implementation.

You will work alongside talented engineers in a highly collaborative environment that values curiosity, innovation, pairing, continuous improvement, and pragmatic engineering practices.

## Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-designed software solutions and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain production-quality software within modern cloud environments.
• Design solutions across **Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)**, with GCP strongly preferred.
