Senior Software Engineer (Web (Tinder LLC, New York, New York))

About this role

• Design, implement, and maintain responsive and interactive web applications using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.) with accessibility in mind
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following coding standards and best practices
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure the reliability and functionality of web applications and to ensure the web app maintains its accessibility standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall product roadmap
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users or QA testers promptly
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Evaluate and integrate emerging web technologies and frameworks to optimize performance and scalability
• Oversee deployment and maintenance processes, ensuring continuous improvement and high availability in production environments
• Lead all aspects of software development and product engineering
• Mentor junior engineers
• Manage ongoing maintenance of existing systems
• Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site in New York, NY office when not
