Senior Software Engineer (Merchant Onboarding)

About this role

• Tabs is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Merchant Onboarding team
• We’re building 0→1 and we’ll be defining ways to streamline the onboarding experience, unlock growth, and amplify our internal teams to move quickly
• This team owns the full merchant journey, from onboarding & configuration to the internal tooling that powers our teams
• Our engineers work across real production systems, complex data flows, and product surfaces used by teams who need software they can trust
• We hire people who enjoy taking ownership, learning fast, and partnering closely with teammates to build things the right way
• Our teams solve problems that don’t have clear answers
• The work spans new product development, system design, data modeling, and operational scale

• Across the company, engineers partner closely with Product and Design. Quick conversations, whiteboard sessions, and collaborative problem solving are part of our daily rhythm
