We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go) who will help solve complex technical and operational problems in the cybersecurity industry. Candidates will directly support Blackpoint’s cyber security mission, helping to stop cyber-attacks, and protecting Blackpoint’s rapidly growing customer base.

The Endpoint Agent team is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Go development of our cybersecurity Endpoint Agent. Our team designs, builds, and maintains our Endpoint Agent which is deployed to customer devices around the globe.

This position is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing robust, scalable software solutions that address complex cybersecurity challenges.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering on business-critical outcomes through your product contributions to our Go-based endpoint agent cybersecurity platform.
• Develop cloud microservice components using Typescript, Go.
• Leverage your deep understanding of design and architecture, along with best practices in design patterns. Your experience in optimizing performance, scale, and resiliency will help deliver outcomes that withstand the test of time.
• Excel as a team player by recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives and managing expectations and needs across numerous cross-functional groups. This includes taking on the role of mentoring other engineers, leading them in complex, cross functional projects.
