Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Overview:
The Mastercard Foundry Research & Development team identifies, evaluates, and develops emerging technologies that shape the future of commerce. This role combines hands-on software engineering, technical leadership, technology research, and rapid prototyping. The Senior Software Engineer will design and build full-stack applications, lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and develop architectural solutions that support new commerce experiences from concept through market validation. They will collaborate across engineering, product, and innovation teams to transform ideas into scalable solutions and technology platforms.

About the Role:
• Develop full-stack applications and prototypes using modern technologies including React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot and Python.
• Design, build and maintain scalable frontend applications, backend services and APIs that support new product concepts and innovation initiatives.
• Lead technical initiatives from ideation through implementation, providing architectural guidance and engineering leadership across projects.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical designs, and solution proposals to communicate complex concepts to engineering teams and leadership stakeholders.
