About this role
#### Your mission
As a Senior Software Engineer at Intigriti, you are a trusted, autonomous technical expert at the heart of our engineering drive. Working closely with tech leads and architects you will be building high-impact features, evolving a scalable, reliable architecture, and mentoring others to level up.
Senior Engineers at Intigriti are expected to drive technical excellence and ensure our systems are secure for thousands of users in the cybersecurity community. We thrive as a crowd, and you will be key driver of success within our growing team.
#### What you’ll be doing
- **Owning features from beginning to end.** Senior engineers are often put into a Feature Lead position. This means they collaborate directly with a Product Manager and a Product Designer to get a feature from possibility to reality. It means understanding the problem, designing a solution and getting it into production. This also means writing tickets, documentation and presenting the feature to the organization.
- **Going deep.** Because of our unique architecture, you will encounter challenging technical problems. Whether it is related to performance, scalability or complexity, you’re expected to dive into a problem and come out the other end with a solution. This often means spending days reading documentation and running tests.
- **Support.** Every week one senior member of the team is our designated Production Hero Of The Week. Their job is to monitor our production environment, act as the go-to engineer for critical incidents, and provide support to both internal teams and customers.
- **Collaborate and mentor.** Senior Engineers are expected to communicate well both inside of a team as across teams. You’ll often have to collaborate with SREs on architecture or production incidents. Junior members of the team will look to you for guidance. You’ll have to mentor them through radically honest but constructive feedback, presenting best practices and sharing knowledge....
