We're working with a global financial powerhouse and leader in capital markets technology on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a heavy-hitting Engineer to architect and build high-performance regulatory reporting systems that process massive volumes of equity and options trading data.

You will join the CAT Regulatory Reporting team to lead the development of secure, scalable, and resilient services using KDB+, Python, and Java. This is a high-impact role where you will solve complex data challenges in a fast-paced environment that bridges traditional finance and the emerging cryptocurrency space.

The Role

• Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting (CAT 605/606) using KDB+ and time-series databases.

• Write high-quality, maintainable code for product features while driving software engineering excellence through CI/CD and automated testing.

• Collaborate with large cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical initiatives in an Agile, iterative environment.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across agile teams to improve overall productivity and innovative output.

• Architect and manage high-volume datasets, ensuring the reliability of distributed systems and resilient messaging services.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong background in large-scale Reporting Platforms.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with KDB+, Python, Java, and Linux Shell Scripting.

• Deep proficiency in SQL and specialized knowledge of both relational and time-series databases for high-volume data sets.

• Proven experience with Microservices architecture, API design, Control M, and deploying to Cloud-based environments.

• Sector experience in Capital Markets (Trading/Algo Trading) or Cryptocurrency platforms is highly preferred.
