About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who can independently design, develop, review, and maintain production-level web applications. This role is for someone who can take ownership of technical work, identify problems in an existing codebase, make sound engineering decisions, and build reliable features with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL/Supabase, Vercel, web security, database design, testing, and modern AI-assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical and code reviews of existing web applications.
• Identify architectural, security, database, performance, and code-quality issues and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable web application features.
• Develop production-ready applications using TypeScript and Next.js.
• Design, query, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases through Supabase.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend functionality.
• Implement proper authentication, authorization, data validation, and security practices.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications using Vercel.
• Write unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests where appropriate.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production problems.

About you

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production web applications, not just websites or basic frontend projects.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase.
• Experience deploying production applications using Vercel.
