About This Role
Software engineers apply the principles of software engineering and the knowledge of programming languages to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
At Covered, there is no distinction between Full Stack, Front End, Back End, or Test Engineers. All Software Engineers have a different blend of capabilities and these capabilities can evolve over time.
The Software Engineer 3 role is expected to guide and mentor lesser experienced software engineers on the team, take direction and mentorship from more experienced software engineers on the team, and collaborate across team boundaries. This role implements solutions with an understanding of scalability and ease of maintenance. This role can head up mid to high complexity solution design and implementation.
