Join BAE Systems’ Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Software Defined Radio (SDR) capabilities for the Compass Call program, a vital electronic warfare platform. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of high-performance software that controls and processes RF signals, enabling critical mission capabilities. Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and test software for controlling and processing signals.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for modulation, demodulation, signal analysis, and jamming techniques.
- Integrate software components with hardware platforms, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate closely with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and test engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring system reliability and stability.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Git.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman).
- Experience developing software within an Agile team.
- Experience with Linux software development.
