### Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare IT initiatives, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of technology environments, maintaining operational stability, and delivering long-term value while adhering to budget and timelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with experience managing high-profile, cross-functional projects within a healthcare environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive **Day 1 readiness plans** and Phase II integration roadmaps
- Assess target organization’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and technical debt
- Identify integration risks, costs, and optimization opportunities
- Coordinate across IT and business units to align technical integration with organizational goals
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Lead project teams and manage resources across multiple workstreams
- Monitor progress, track deliverables, and ensure adherence to project plans
- Manage risks and issues through resolution
- Produce and present regular project and program status reports
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to project team members and PMO staff
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
### Requirements:
- 8–10 years of experience in IT Program/Project Management
- Strong experience in healthcare IT environments (hospital or healthcare systems preferred)
- Proven experience managing complex, high-visibility projects or programs
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
