Senior Project Manager – Pharmacy Automation

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead customer implementations of pharmacy automation solutions within hospital environments.

This role extends beyond IT or software implementation. Our client is seeking someone who can lead the complete customer project, coordinating IT integration, physical equipment installation, facilities/construction readiness, and operational change. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking ownership across these workstreams while managing the overall budget, schedule, and customer relationship.

The Senior Project Manager must independently drive projects, communicate effectively with customers, and coordinate technical and operational specialists to achieve successful implementations. This position also provides leadership within the Project Management team, mentoring other Project Managers and improving delivery processes.

Department Function:

The Pharmacy Automation Project Management team is responsible for the successful implementation of pharmacy automation solutions for our client’s North American customers. The team includes Training/Implementation, Project Management, Hardware Installation, and Software System Engineering.

The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Director, Pharmacy Automation Project Management.

This position manages multiple customer projects across planning, active implementation, go-live, customer acceptance, and closeout. Assigned portfolios may include 25–30 projects at varying levels of activity, including longer-term projects dependent on hospital construction schedules, with total job costs of approximately $10 million.

Responsibilities:
