Location:

Remote (applicants must be based in the U.S.), with regular travel to our headquarters in Wichita, Kansas and occasional travel to customer and partner sites

Chief Operating Officer

Experience target:

~7–10 years, hybrid administrative and hands-on

Scope:

Both lines of business — crystal growth and coatings

Base salary:

$100,000–$120,000, depending on experience, plus meaningful equity

About the role

Nitride Global is scaling two lines of business at the frontier of ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor materials: single-crystal aluminum nitride growth, and AlN / AlON thin-film coatings. Our project portfolio now spans NASA, the U.S. Air Force and AFWERX, the Department of Energy and PowerAmerica, and Axiom Space, alongside a growing commercial pipeline with leading semiconductor manufacturers.
