Our Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Open VSX who will be dedicated to supporting Open VSX, the open source, vendor-neutral extension registry for tools built on the VS Code extension API. Open VSX powers a rapidly expanding ecosystem of AI-native IDEs, cloud development environments, and VS Code-compatible platforms. With the launch of Open VSX Managed Registry, the Eclipse Foundation now provides commercial adopters with SLA-backed reliability, defined support tiers, and enterprise-grade operational assurance for production-scale usage, while preserving vendor neutrality, open governance, and free access for individual developers and open source projects.

We are looking for a candidate with proven product marketing experience in developer tools, cloud development environments, software platforms, marketplaces, SaaS, or related technical products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating technical capabilities and commercial offerings into compelling value propositions for developers, technical decision-makers, enterprise buyers, platform vendors, AI tooling companies, and ecosystem partners.
