Senior Product Designer (Audit)

About this role

• We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Audit product team. You’ll own complex, ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and help shape the design direction of a core Fieldguide product
• This team ships frequently, iterates in tight loops, and makes progress amid ambiguity
• You’ll join a growing, highly collaborative product design team embedded within Fieldguide’s Audit product group. Designers at Fieldguide operate as strong product partners—working closely with Product Management and Engineering to define problems and deliver high-quality solutions
• The Audit team focuses on the core workflows that auditors and assurance professionals use every day, including planning, execution, review, and collaboration across engagements. The problems are complex, data-rich, and high-impact
• Lead end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous audit workflows, from problem definition through shipped solutions
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and deliver high-quality, scalable implementations bringing strong product judgment to tradeoffs across user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Drive design execution with minimal direction, operating effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Translate customer needs, research insights, and business goals into clear user journeys, interaction models, and polished UI
• Balance speed and iteration with usability, consistency, and long-term product quality
• Advocate for users while accounting for technical, regulatory, and business constraints
• Own a significant product area or customer journey, anticipating downstream impacts across workflows and personas
• Set a high bar for craft and influence by contributing to the design system, mentoring peers, and serving as a trusted design voice with strong conviction and low ego
