Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £70,000 p/annum depending on experience

### The Role

The British Business Bank (the Bank) is the UK’s economic development bank dedicated to ensuring finance markets support smaller and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the UK to start, scale and grow in the UK.

The Bank is at the heart of the government economic growth agenda. From April, we will be embarking on the delivery of our Five-year Strategic Plan to create a step change in financing support for smaller businesses across the UK.

As a Senior Manager within the Strategy and Policy team, you will help develop and deliver the overall strategy for the Bank. You will engage closely with government and industry stakeholders, and help translate government policy priorities into action to support the growth of smaller businesses across the UK. You will work closely with the Bank’s product and front-office teams to support delivery, proactively undertaking analysis and identifying opportunities to improve SME access to finance. You will also support the Board and Executive Committee in delivering the Bank’s corporate strategy.
