Senior Legal Counsel – Privacy & AI
About your role:
As Senior Counsel - Privacy & AI, you will serve as the day-to-day legal leader supporting the privacy program with a significant focus on enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) enablement across Fiserv. You will partner with the AI Center of Excellence, business, product, engineering, legal, risk, and compliance teams to align legal requirements with how AI is developed, deployed, and governed. Your work will help operationalize privacy and AI governance, support responsible innovation, and strengthen compliance across products, operations, and client engagements.
What you'll do:
- Advise business, product, engineering, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders on AI, data, and privacy laws, including the Colorado AI Act, European Union Artificial Intelligence Act, General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act, California Privacy Rights Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulatory requirements
- Partner with the AI Center of Excellence to review, document, and support approval of artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, and agentic artificial intelligence use cases, including risk categorization, required safeguards, and approval conditions
