Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

About this role

Role Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of client projects across network infrastructure and cyber security services.

The role will work closely with clients, technical teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate does not need to be a deep technical specialist. However, they should have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and be comfortable working alongside technical teams delivering solutions across networking, cyber security and end-user environments.

This is an ideal role for an experienced IT Project Manager who enjoys working in a client-facing IT services environment, managing multiple projects and coordinating technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take ownership of projects from initiation through to successful delivery and closure.

· Establish project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones and success criteria.

· Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs and project documentation.

· Manage project dependencies, risks, issues and actions.

· Monitor progress against agreed milestones, budgets and resource requirements.

· Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed governance and quality standards.

· Proactively identify potential delivery issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

· Manage change control and ensure changes to scope, cost or timescales are properly assessed and agreed.

· Coordinate project activities across multiple technical and operational teams.

· Client Management

· Act as the primary project contact for clients, establishing strong and trusted relationships.

· Lead project meetings, progress reviews and steering meetings.
