Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle fund accounting activities, including maintaining general ledger records and preparing financial statements.
- Complete account reconciliations and review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy.
- Record journal entries related to fees, intercompany transactions, financing activity, and accruals.
- Support audit and tax processes by preparing schedules and assisting with required documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support reporting and investor communication.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or investment environments.
- A strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
- Previous experience working with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple assignments effectively.
