Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle fund accounting activities, including maintaining general ledger records and preparing financial statements.
  • Complete account reconciliations and review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy.
  • Record journal entries related to fees, intercompany transactions, financing activity, and accruals.
  • Support audit and tax processes by preparing schedules and assisting with required documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support reporting and investor communication.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or investment environments.
  • A strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
  • Previous experience working with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple assignments effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information and explain results clearly.
  • Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Organized and proactive work style with strong time management skills.
  • Prior experience supporting audits, investor reporting, and fund level accounting.
