Senior Full Stack Developer

About this role

Tru Treasury is seeking a full-time Senior Full Stack Developer to help design and build modern financial technology products used by financial institutions and businesses across the United States.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end-from architecture and backend services to frontend user experiences. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our platform and collaborating with product and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Our stack is modern and developer-focused, built primarily with TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

What You'll Work On

• Building scalable treasury management platforms used by financial institutions
• Designing APIs and services that support financial workflows and integrations
• Developing secure, reliable systems for regulated fintech environments
• Improving system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Helping shape engineering standards, architecture, and technical direction

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full stack applications using **TypeScript, React, and Next.js**
• Develop backend APIs and services
• Design and maintain **PostgreSQL relational data models**
• Work with infrastructure and services deployed in **AWS**
• Collaborate with other engineers on system architecture and feature design
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
• Work closely with product and operations teams to deliver new features
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance
